MRI Technologist (Rad Tech – MRI)
Position Overview
We are seeking experienced MRI Technologists to support diagnostic imaging services within the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) network. This role involves performing high-quality MRI procedures while ensuring patient safety and adherence to federal and clinical standards.

Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic MRI imaging procedures
Operate and maintain MRI equipment safely and efficiently
Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications
Ensure patient comfort and proper positioning during scans
Follow established imaging protocols and quality standards
Maintain accurate documentation in imaging systems
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams
Adhere to VA policies and federal healthcare regulations
Schedule & Work Environment
8, 9, or 10-hour shifts
Rotating weekends and federal holidays may be required
On-call and overtime may be required based on facility needs
Minimum assignment may start from short-term coverage with potential extension
Required Qualifications
ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology (MRI preferred)
Active state license (as applicable)
Minimum 1–2 years of recent MRI experience
Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and procedures
Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder
Ability to pass background checks (OIG & SAM)

Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods (8+ hours)
Lift up to 50–100 lbs as needed
Perform repetitive movements including bending and reaching
Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $37.78 - $45.50 per hour
