Our team is thriving in the nation's capital and eager to add additional engineering staff.ResponsibilitiesAssisting the project manager and supporting engineering staff in the preparation of construction plans / documents and design of site and infrastructure improvements including grading, roadway, dry and wet utilities, lighting, erosion control, and storm water managementPreparation of calculations and reportsProcessing construction documents through the regulatory agencies in the District of Columbia and other municipalitiesConstruction administration dutiesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering6 plus years of experience in the planning and civil engineering design of roadways, mixed use, residential, commercial, institutional, and public site development projects.Technical proficiency in using AutoCAD, with Civil 3D proficiency preferred. MicroStation proficiency a plus.PE RequiredExperience in Washington, DC, Suburban Maryland and / or Northern VA preferredExcellent communications & organizational skillsWhy Join AMT?At AMT, we understand that our most valuable asset is our staff.
