Job Description Commercial/Retail Construction Senior Project ManagerA Grafton, Illinois based general contractor is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex commercial construction projects. This role requires strong leadership, deep technical understanding, and proven experience managing commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout—and who values collaboration, precision, and long-term impact.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all phases of project execution from pre-construction through closeoutManage project budgets, schedules, procurement, and riskLead coordination between field operations, subcontractors, design teams, and ownershipConduct weekly project meetings and maintain clear documentation and communicationReview and approve submittals, RFIs, change orders, and progress billingsEnsure strict adherence to jobsite safety, quality standards, and compliance requirementsCollaborate with pre-construction and engineering teams to drive value and constructabilityRequired QualificationsMinimum 7-10 years of experience in commercial construction project managementDemonstrated success managing large scale complex projectsProven ability to lead large subcontractor teams and deliver projects on time and within budgetStrong working knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, and contract managementStrong knowledge of contracts and subcontract management and enforcementOSHA 30 certification or willingness to obtainBackground in design-build general contracting· Proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Project mate, Sage, Smart Sheets, Team, etc.Company DescriptionGeneral ContractorCompany DescriptionGeneral Contractor
