Must have Secret Clearance.The System Integration Engineer will integrate software into test suites at Schriever, primarily focusing on virtual servers, and develop site and event-specific configurations to support tests, war games, and exercise events. They will operate and troubleshoot systems during test events, collaborating with external National Team (CLAW) personnel to resolve test lab issues and working with Operations and Sustainment teams and Level-II support personnel to address installation and processing challenges.This role involves creating and modifying scripts to extract data from log files, performing data analysis on message data, troubleshooting both test and operational issues, and documenting test results. The engineer will author test plan documents and procedures, generate Test Discrepancy Reports, and support software development teams by investigating and resolving issues. They will also develop troubleshooting procedures, execute detailed test plans in an integrated environment, and plan and lead integration tests with external elements and sensors. Additionally, the engineer will review and provide feedback on system specifications, development, testing, and network documentation while attending meetings to represent the Integration team.ResponsibilitiesProject Management - Assist in monitoring/managing deployments from the time they hit the MDIOC until they become operationalSystem Test Coordinator - Work with System Test personnel (Event Mission Directors, Remote Test Labs, Govt. Reps)CESS Coordination - Support management of CTF assets in scheduling and deconflicting resourcesDeployment Lead Coordination - Work with Deployment Leads in planning, scheduling, and supporting deployments into CTF and OperationsAgile Planner (Iteration/Sprint) - Align description and acceptance criteria to features relative to SysInt task, estimate hours and timelines to complete tasks, monitor/track/document progress of tasks through to completion or roll-over to next iteration.FIT (Fielding, Integration and Test) Scheduling - Ensure adequate Integrator staffing support to all events (Pair/Tri-wise testing, Cycle1, Cycle2 support, System Events, GTI/GTD/Flt Tests, Cycle5, Operational support)Fill in and assume Team Lead responsibilities as neededSupport managerial duties include:• Budgeting, scheduling, scope, estimating• High-Level Project Planner• SCRUM Master (Support) QualificationsSelf-starter with strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, capable of thriving in a fast-paced team environmentKnowledge of or practical experience with industry or DoD test methodologies and terminologyExperience with operational systems (e.g., Aegis, Patriot), development systems (e.g., GMD, THAAD, Aegis), and off-the-shelf statistical analysis packages a plusAbility to develop integration plans and procedures from functional and technical requirements, execute detailed integration processes, analyze results, and effectively present findingsExperience working collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholdersProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsStrong troubleshooting skills for small to large-scale infrastructureKnowledge of Systems Integration and System/Software Testing, including virtualized environmentsHands-on experience with Linux/UNIX and Windows operating systemsUnderstanding of the software development lifecycle, from requirements to deploymentKnowledge of system design and integration into operational environmentsHigh proficiency with VMware, virtual servers, and UNIX, including shell scriptingExperience in test plan and procedure development, as well as test executionEducationBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)Active IAT Level 2 certification required (Security+ or equivalent)Security ClearanceMinimum: Active Secret DoD Security Clearance requiredPreferred: Top Secret DoD Security Clearance     Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.
