Castle Senior Living - Job Title: Bookkeeper – Assisted Living FacilitySchedule: [Full time]Reports To: Executive Director / AdministratorJob SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Bookkeeper to support the financial operations of our Assisted Living community. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting or bookkeeping, strong organizational skills, and an understanding of confidentiality and compliance in a healthcare or senior living setting.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivableProcess resident billing, payments, and refunds in a timely mannerReconcile bank statements and general ledger accountsPrepare monthly financial reports and assist with budget trackingProcess payroll and manage related documentation, as applicableEnsure compliance with company policies, state regulations, and audit requirementsCoordinate with corporate accounting, auditors, and external vendorsMaintain resident financial files and ensure strict confidentialityAssist with annual audits and financial reviewsSupport administrative staff and Executive Director with financial inquiriesQualificationsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferredMinimum of 2 years bookkeeping or accounting experience (healthcare or assisted living experience a plus)Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft ExcelStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to handle sensitive financial and resident information discreetlyExcellent communication and time-management skillsWhat We OfferCompetitive compensationSupportive and team-oriented work environmentOpportunity to work in a meaningful setting serving seniorsBenefits incentive
