Qualifications5+ years of experience in data modeling, data architecture, or a similar roleProficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQLExperience with data modeling tools such as Erwin, IBM InfoSphere Data Architect, or similarAbility to communicate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiencesDesign and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models that support both operational and analytical needsCollaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable data modelsPerform data profiling and analysis to understand data quality issues and identify opportunities for improvementImplement best practices for data modeling, including normalization, denormalization, and indexing strategiesLead data architecture discussions and present data modeling solutions to technical and non-technical audiencesMentor and guide junior data modelers and data architects within the teamContinuously evaluate data modeling tools and techniques to enhance team efficiency and productivityGeneric Managerial SkillsEnsure customers’ success by fostering a balanced relationship that benefits both GE and the customerTake a leadership role in strategizing with internal staff and customers to solve and prevent re-occurrence of issuesEngage with customers on day to day issues; organize customer calls to facilitate implementation of solutions while adhering to change control, compliance protocols.
