Mechanic / Auto Service Technician

Job Description Multidisciplinary Mechanic / Service TechnicianWe aren't your typical "assembly line" repair shop. We handle everything from routine maintenance to custom modifications. We are looking for a versatile, high-energy Mechanic who thrives on variety. One hour you might be performing a standard PM service or brake job, and the next you could be installing a lift kit or replacing running boards.If you are a gearhead who gets bored doing the same three tasks every day and wants to flex your skills across repairs, maintenance, and customizations, this is the bay for you.We do quarterly reviews in your first year / introductory period where you will have opportunities to earn more $$! Starting pay is $20-$28/hr depending upon experience!Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you need to be a "Swiss Army Knife" in the shop, ready to jump in wherever the workflow demands:General Repair & Diagnostics: Perform engine tune-ups, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs on a wide variety of makes and models.Routine Maintenance: Efficiently handle PM services, oil changes, fluid flushes, and tire rotations/mounting/balancing.Brake & Suspension: Execute high-quality brake system and suspension repairs in addition to alignments.Custom Builds & Upfits: Install aftermarket upgrades including lift kits, leveling kits, airbag suspension systems, tonneau covers and more.Flexibility: Pivot between heavy repair work and quick-service tasks as shop volume dictates to ensure "dead time" is minimized.Quality Control: Maintain a clean workspace and perform "test-drives" to ensure all custom work and repairs meet our safety standards.Qualifications & SkillsExperience: 3+ years of automotive mechanical experience. Experience with both standard repair and aftermarket bolt-on accessories is highly preferred.Adaptability: A "no task is too small" attitude. You're just as proud of a perfectly executed oil change as you are a complex lift kit installation.Tooling: Must possess your own basic set of tools (specialty shop tools provided).Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of suspension geometry (for lift kits) and electrical/pneumatic systems (for airbags/accessories).Certifications: ASE certifications are a plus but not required if your hands-on experience proves your expertise.Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced shop environment.All employees will receive the following benefits after 90 day introductory period:Health insurance planVision / Dental programPaid Holidays, Sick pay, PTOEmployee purchase discountUniform allowancePaid Training401K matching ( after 12 months of employment )
