If you are hard-working and dedicated, JET Food Stores of Georgia is an ideal place to get ahead.Responsibilities for Maintenance TechnicianProvide support outside normal working hours, if necessary, and provide weekend support on rotation with fellow Maintenance TechniciansRespond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safe work practicesEnsures assigned task are completed efficiently, cost effectively and in a timely manner.Conduct repairs and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systemsConduct repairs and maintenance of fuel oil dispensers and related fueling equipmentConduct repairs and maintenance of food service equipmentConduct repairs and maintenance of structural systems such as roofs, walls, doors, ceilings, etc.Support the setup and installation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and conduct repairs when necessaryQualifications for Maintenance Technician: Qualified applicants shall possess the following:Possess a valid State driver's license and a clean driving recordHigh school diploma or equivalent as well as a Certificate in Air Conditioning or Refrigeration Technology or equivalent credentials.Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systemsMinimum 5 years of experience as a HVAC/R technician or in related fieldEPA Certification in accordance with 40 CFR Part 82Physically capable of lifting 50 poundsA strong understanding of general maintenance processes and methodsExperience in operating a variety of equipment, including man lift, dump trailer, pump trailer, and small hand tools to name a fewA strong working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and metering devicesOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsExcellent manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
