Position Summary for RN Supervisor Responsible for supervision of the RN nursing team. The RN Supervisor will provide or coordinate the provision of support to patients and also assist with in-service training, direction, and supervision to staff. Position Responsibilities for RN Supervisor Ensures the facility and staff provide an environment of care that supports the principles of patient centered care. Is responsible for the day to day supervision of the nursing and clinical support staff Oversees the daily flow of administrative tasks including: patient scheduling, team assignments, coverage for lunch & breaks, room assignments, & medication dispensary. Ensures compliance with all infection control and environment of care regulations. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE for RN Supervisor Education: Associates or Bachelor's RN degree. Certification: Current RN license is required. CPR is a plus. Experience: Experience as a Charge Nurse or supervisory experience is preferred.
