(KCA) has openings for full-time, Entry- Level Hydraulics Engineers in Charlotte and Raleigh.In this position, you will work under the direct supervision of the Department Manager. The position requires a solid understanding of transportation design projects, a strong foundation of hydrologic and hydraulics engineering principles, and solid communication skills. Responsibilities includepreparing technical studies, reports, construction estimates and assisting with proposals & presentations for storm drain, pond, and floodplain design for transportation projects.Qualifications0 to 5 years of experienceEI preferredBachelor's degree in civil engineeringGood verbal and written communication skillsEagerness to learn from and collaborate with teammatesKnowledge of NCDOT design standards and planning preparation procedures is a plusOpenRoads Designer (ORD) or 3D Modeling experience is a plusJob RequirementsAbout KCAKCA is a minority-owned multidisciplinary engineering firm that has served the transportation industry for 50 years.
