Site Reliability Engineer
Responsibilities of the Elastic Site Reliability Engineer include:Administer, maintain, and optimize enterprise Elastic Stack environments supporting logging, search, observability, and telemetry operationsEnsure platform reliability, scalability, uptime, and performance across production systemsManage Kubernetes-based Elastic deployments, including Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes (ECK)Develop and maintain automation for deployments, monitoring, alerting, and incident response workflowsIntegrate Elastic platforms with SIEM, EDR, and security monitoring solutionsTroubleshoot complex infrastructure, application, and distributed systems issuesSupport observability initiatives including logging, metrics, tracing, and monitoring frameworksContribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and infrastructure-as-code initiativesDevelop and maintain operational runbooks, technical documentation, and support proceduresParticipate in on-call rotations and incident response activitiesQualifications for the Elastic Site Reliability Engineer include:5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure OperationsStrong hands-on experience supporting Elastic Stack in enterprise production environmentsExperience managing Kubernetes environments, including ECK deploymentsStrong Linux/Unix administration experienceExperience supporting observability, telemetry, logging, and monitoring platformsFamiliarity with distributed systems architecture and performance optimizationU.S. Citizenship requiredAbility to obtain or maintain an active Secret clearanceAbility to work onsite in Hanscom AFB, MA or Langley AFB, VAPreferred Qualifications:Secret Clearance RequiredElastic certifications (Engineer, Observability, or Security)Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Infrastructure as CodeExperience with SIEM and EDR platforms such as Splunk, CrowdStrike, or TrellixExperience supporting federal, DoD, GovCloud, or classified environmentsExperience with CI/CD pipeline automation and DevSecOps practices
