Business Development Analyst - Private Equity firm

Our client is a technology focused private equity firm based in the Bay Area. They are looking to add a Business Development/Sourcing Analyst to their team.Responsibilities:Source, identify, and analyze new investment opportunities including interfacing directly with technology company founders and CEOsTravel to industry/banker conferencesDevelop investment theses and deep dive on specific technology areasPerform research of new markets, technologies, competitive landscape, and share findings with the teamAssist and support portfolio companies with operational and M&A initiativesThere is an opportunity for high performers to take on more responsibilities outside of sourcing (execution work) and to be promoted directly to an AssociateRequirements:Experience in PE/VC, investment banking, management consulting, technology, or similar roleSuperior work ethic, a desire to learn the PE business, and uncompromising attention to detailExcellent execution and time management skillsExcellent written, communication and presentation skillsPositive attitude, independent, and self-startingPassion for technology1-3 years of experience in related fieldsLocation of the position is in Menlo Park, CA or Atlanta, GA
