We are seeking a dedicated Immigration Attorney to join our Asylum & Removal Defense practice immediately.Key ResponsibilitiesRepresent clients in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court, including Master Calendar and Individual HearingsDraft and litigate motions to reopen, reconsider, terminate, and other post-order reliefPrepare and file appeals and briefs before the BIAConduct legal research and develop case strategiesAnalyze records, including FOIA responses, to support case developmentPrepare clients and witnesses for hearingsAppear at USCIS interviews and related proceedings as neededSupervise, mentor, and manage paralegals and law clerks, including reviewing work product, providing guidance, and ensuring deadlines and quality standards are metOversee case preparation and workflow, maintaining organization, accuracy, and compliance across assigned mattersCollaborate with team members to ensure efficient case management and strong client serviceAttorneys with federal litigation experience may also:Lead or support federal court matters, including mandamus, habeas corpus, and APA actionsDraft complaints, motions, and briefs in federal district courtHelp develop internal processes and strategy for federal litigation casesRequirementsJ.D. or LL.M. degree from an accredited U.S. law schoolActive admission to a U.S. Bar (California Bar preferred)Minimum 1 year of immigration law experience (asylum/removal defense focus strongly preferred)Full professional fluency in both English and Turkish requiredMust be authorized to work in the United States — we do not sponsor visas for this positionWhat We OfferA growing, structured firm with clear processes and room to advanceA collaborative, supportive team that values quality work and strong client outcomesExposure to complex, high-stakes asylum and removal defense cases across USCIS and Immigration CourtDirect involvement in meaningful client representation serving a unique Turkish-speaking community nationwideOpportunity to develop federal litigation experience in mandamus, habeas corpus, and APA mattersHow to Apply Please send your resume and any relevant materials to: hr@marsanakguclaw.comWe are moving quickly — strong candidates will be contacted within days of applying.
