Perform necessary duties for the smooth operation of the parts department.Functional ResponsibilitiesPick up and deliver merchandise where directed. Keep proper maintenance of company vehicle. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of maintenance shop. Keep vehicle clean and presentable. Daily check of all fluid levels on company pickupNotify parts manager immediately of any necessary repairs or unusual sounds from company pickup. Must have and keep a valid driver’s license.Help Maintenance clerk to stock parts. Be available for physical inventory.All other duties as assignedCompetenciesStrong math, reasoning, and analytical skillsCommunication skills – oral and writtenComputer skills – Microsoft office applicationsExcellent organizational and time management skillsKnowledge of Accounts ReceivableRequirementsExperience/Training/CertificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent1 Year Of Relevant Experience PreferredValid driver’s license requiredExperience in delivery of parts or retail sales.Must have and keep a clean driving record. Basic knowledge of area to cover. Ability to recognize the need for urgency of speedy pickup and delivery.Experience/Training/CertificationsA High School Diploma with 2-5 years of relevant industry experience in plant service and repair.R&M Trade School education preferredA Class A or B license required
