This individual will be accountable for all aspects of operations, including:– Planning, budgeting, sourcing and producing goods that meet challenging deadlines– Managing and developing the production team– Complying with all applicable local to federal laws in a highly regulated industry– Maintaining the company’s organic certification program and production database– Continually improving the cost, efficiency, quality, safety and environmental management of operations– Maintaining and improving the equipment and facilities, including preparing equipment budgets and project plans that encompass new equipment and major repairs for existing equipment & facilities– Embracing and improving the company’s culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement, implementation of work standards, automation and development of feedback mechanismsThe Successful Applicant Should Possess– Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration or related field– 10+ years in a manufacturing or operations environment in the beverage industry, with demonstrated experience in growing operations/production, planning/budgeting and team building– Detail-oriented problem solver/doer with developed management skills and high integrity– Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills– Experience working with manufacturing systems and software– Willing and able to perform any operations within team member’s job, including physically demanding ones– Must live within a reasonable distance of the distillery, which is located in downtown Los AngelesWhat’s On OfferCompetitive compensation package, including healthcare and stock optionsApply for this Job
