If you thrive on complexity, enjoy solving multi-jurisdictional puzzles, and want a seat at the table on meaningful initiatives, this opportunity is built for you.What You'll DoPartnership Accounting & Financial OperationsSupport partner compensation accounting, including reconciliations, allocations, and distributionsManage partner capital accounts and help administer partner loan programsPrepare and review journal entries, partner reporting, and related financial analysesOversee financial aspects of partner programs, including insurance and expatriate expense reviewPartner with international offices to support global partnership operationsTax Compliance & CoordinationOversee multi-state withholding and filing requirements, including California withholding and waiver processesManage SALT compliance across jurisdictions, including periodic filings and annual reconciliationsSupport PTET elections and group filings in coordination with external advisorsCoordinate federal tax compliance for non-U.S. partners and jurisdictional exemption processesAnalytical Reporting & Regulatory SupportAnalyze nondeductible expenses and partner-level allocationsOversee FBAR/FATCA reporting for partners and designated staffEnsure on-time compliance across multiple jurisdictions and time zonesFoundation & Special ProjectsMaintain accounting and reporting for the firm's charitable foundationPrepare committee-level reporting and coordinate annual tax filingsLead ad hoc partnership accounting and tax initiatives as opportunities ariseWhat You BringBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance3–5+ years of partnership accounting experience, ideally in a law firm or professional services environmentWorking knowledge of partnership taxation and multi-state complianceAdvanced Excel skills; experience with legal accounting systems such as Aderant Expert or Elite 3EStrong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines with easeA high level of discretion, precision, and pride in your attention to detailWhat's In It For YouA chance to own a critical function within a globally recognized $900M firm, collaborate with talented professionals across borders, and grow your career in a role that genuinely values technical depth and judgment.Ready to bring your partnership accounting expertise to a firm where your work truly matters?
