Flexographic Press OperatorAs a Flexographic Press Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, maintaining, and operating a flexographic printing press to produce high-quality printed materials. This role requires technical skill, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while following safety, quality, and production standards. You will support continuous improvement efforts, collaborate with other departments, and ensure your equipment runs safely and efficiently. Set up, adjust, maintain, and operate a flexographic press. Work with minimal supervision to meet production needs. Perform make-ready procedures, including installing anilox rollers, plates, inks, and dies, and make adjustments for optimal print quality. Clean, lubricate, and make minor machine adjustments to maintain production quality. Notify supervision when repairs or replacement parts are needed. Deliver finished materials to designated manufacturing areas. Ensure assigned equipment is properly maintained and operated safely. Assist with other printing processes as directed. Assist in training team members as assigned. Understand and follow all documents related to printing specifications and processes. Comply with company policies, procedures, core processes, and all established safety rules. Keep work area clean and organized. Support and follow LEAN principles, identifying and resolving issues. Focus on continuous improvement, quality, cycle times, safety, cost reduction, and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with other departments and maintenance teams on projects or validations. Perform other duties as assigned. High school diploma or GED. 13 years of related experience operating or maintaining printing equipment. Ability to read and write simple instructions. Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to pass color vision and color-hue tests. Basic computer skills. Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Proficient use of hand tools. Reliable attendance and ability to work overtime as needed, including during busy periods. Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
