Material Handler I, Loading

Job Summary: The Material Handler must have excellent attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination and vision, good math skills, ability to work in fast-paced environment. Duties & ResponsibilitiesCheck all ammunition and ensure it matches customers' order.Notify Shipping/Receiving Coordinators and other personnel of problems.Must be able to problem solve and create techniques to benefit shipping and receiving.Work as a team member with Shipping/Receiving Coordinators and Inspectors.Transport materials from storage into inspection area and then to shipping area.Properly recycle all cardboard and place in proper containers.Keep shipping and inspection areas clean and free from clutter.Accurately pull and pack all orders and inventory.Communicate with coordinator for production of needed parts.Complete other tasks as assigned.Specifications/Qualifications:Experience - 1-2 years of experience preferredEducation - High School diploma, GED, or graduate technical school.Responsibility - Carry out assigned duties while observing all safety regulationsComplexity of duties - Attention to detail, good use of judgment.Supervision received - Direct oversight from Shipping/Receiving CoordinatorWorking conditions - Consistent noise, heat (Summer), cold (Winter), dusty environment. Mostly indoors.Mental and physical demands -Must have excellent attention to detail, good hand eye coordination and vision.Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.The job requires some squatting, kneeling, bending, for long periods of time.Sitting, standing, climbing, lifting, pulling, pushing, carrying, reaching, speaking, listening, motor coordination skillsConfidential data - Access to company intellectual property must remain confidential
