Join us at Roaring River State Park, where every day unfolds as a new chapter in the great outdoors!Summary of Position: A Server will enjoy interacting with diverse personality types, while serving food and/or beverages in a timely, friendly and efficient manner to continue to deliver outstanding guest service.Responsibilities:Accurately take orders from guests, submit to kitchen using Point-of-Sales (POS) software, deliver food and drinks, bus tables or assist busser/runnerKnowledge of restaurant and bar menu promotions and specialsIn an honest and timely manner, prepare checks, process credit cards, accept and make accurate change for cash paymentsEnsure alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages are served in accordance with Federal, State, Local regulations and Company proceduresProvide timely, courteous service to all guests throughout the meal serviceSet tables, polish glasses, prepare workstations and other side work as assignedAccurately prepare sales and tip reports at shift’s end, deposit cash and credit card receiptsComplete other front of house duties such as host, and busser- food runner as needed to meet business requirementsOther duties as may be assigned.Position Requirements:Obtain ServSafe Certification in accordance with Company F&B policyExcellent customer service and people skillsMust be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, holiday shiftsMust have excellent communication skills and be able to count change and reconcile paperworkMajority of shift will be spent on feet in a fast-paced environment, in close proximity to other peopleKnowledge and Experience:Education: High school diploma or equivalentExperience: Minimum (1) year in a restaurant establishmentNational Park/Resort experienceQualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability or protected veteran status and all other status protected by law.
