QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent3 to 5 years of fabrication experienceAbility to lift up to 75 poundsCapability to bend, lift, and twist as required by job functionsStrong communication skillsProficient in mathematical calculations related to fabricationResponsibilitiesThe primary objective of this position is to plan, set up, sequence, layout, and fit steel columns, bracing, and beams with precision and efficiencyRead and analyze structural detail drawingsInterpret routine welding symbolsFit a range of components including columns, beams, and bracing for fabricationPlan work efficiently to meet deadlinesAdhere to quality control (QC) guidelinesProduce acceptable fillet welds in three processes and full penetration welds in two processesLead the fabrication crew in the absence of supervisionAssist in QC inspections as requiredSupport lower-class fitters and provide guidance as neededPerform machine and hand burning tasksMaintain a clean and organized work areaComplete all other duties as assigned#ZR
