The facility maintains high standards of care with a Level 3 trauma designation.Opportunity:Physician - Surgery - GeneralJob Details:• Urgent general surgery coverage needed for December 5th-7th • Must have active Arkansas medical license and clean history to qualify for expedited privileges • Preference for providers already internally credentialed with the vendor • Provides both adult and pediatric general surgery services• Performs trauma surgery in a Level 3 facility • Conducts various laparoscopic procedures including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty, and Nissen fundoplication • Performs head/neck surgery including thyroid procedures • Handles chest wall/pleural procedures and liver surgery • Conducts GI endoscopy (upper and lower, including sigmoidoscopy and colonoscopy) • Manages minor orthopedics and hand surgery cases • Skilled in ventilation management, chest tube insertion, central line insertion, and PA catheter placement • ATLS and BLS certifications required • Hospital provides discounted lodging at Fairfield Bay in Benton • Nearest airport is LIT Clinton National AirportCompensation:Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
