Below, please find further information about the position.Job Title: Cable TechnicianJob Length: Contract to hireJob Location: Aiken SCStart Date: ASAPPay: W2 Format - Direct Deposit or Check weekly every FridayPay Rate: 22-32/HRJob Description:Pull, terminate, test, and label data cabling (fiber optic experience is a plus)Follow the Lead Technician's directionsTerminate data jacks and patch panelsInstall cable racks, j-hooks, inner duct, and other related structuresInstall ladder racks, networking equipment, and telephone equipmentPerform testing and troubleshooting of equipment and cablingEnsure job site is clean at the end of shiftWork in a quick and efficient mannerFollow safety and security proceduresOther duties as assigned.Requirements:Prior experience pulling, terminating and testing data cablingHand tools and PPE requiredUpon meeting eligibility criteria, Verigent offers the following benefits:Paid Time Off (PTO) - Eligible after 1200 hours workedPaid holidays - Eligible after 690 hours worked401K - Eligible the first of the quarter after 90 days of employmentMedical, dental and other additional voluntary benefits - Eligible the first of the month after 60 days of employment
