Daycare Teacher/Caregiver

Job Summary Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Daycare Teacher/Caregiver, where your enthusiasm and dedication will foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding and supporting children’s growth and development through engaging activities, compassionate caregiving, and effective classroom management. Duties Create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that promotes children’s emotional security and curiosity. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support childhood development milestones, including preschool, toddler care, and infant care. Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and educational activities to ensure safety and engagement. Apply behavior management techniques to encourage positive social interactions and resolve conflicts constructively. Maintain accurate records of children’s progress, attendance, and daily routines in compliance with licensing regulations. Collaborate with parents and guardians to share insights on each child's growth and address individual needs or concerns. Ensure all safety protocols are followed diligently, including first aid procedures and emergency response readiness. Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare settings or similar environments such as babysitting or nannying roles. Knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development stages, and classroom management strategies. Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus. Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable to ensure prompt response to emergencies. Demonstrated ability to nurture children through caregiving roles involving infant care, toddler care, or preschool teaching. Experience implementing behavior management techniques to foster positive classroom behavior. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
