Quality Engineer (Audit & Customer-Facing)📍 TIES: Pendergrass, Georgia | 🏭 Automotive ManufacturingWe are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to support customer-facing quality activities and lead audit efforts within an automotive manufacturing environment. This role is best suited for a hands-on professional who understands customer expectations, has led audits, and can represent the organization with confidence and credibility.What You’ll Do:Serve as a primary customer-facing quality representative, supporting quality concerns, audits, and ongoing communicationLead and participate in internal, customer, and third-party auditsSupport IATF 16949 compliance and continuous improvement initiativesDrive corrective and preventive actions using structured problem-solving methodsAnalyze quality data, trends, and KPIs to improve performanceCollaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Engineering, and OperationsMaintain and improve quality systems, documentation, and proceduresWhat We’re Looking For:2+ years of automotive Quality Engineering experience (required)Proven experience in a customer-facing quality roleDemonstrated ability to lead audits and interact directly with customers and auditorsStrong working knowledge of automotive quality standards and core toolsExperience with root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvementConfident communicator with the ability to take ownership and leadPreferred Certifications (Not Required, but Strongly Valued):IATF 16949 certification or experienceVDA certification or audit experienceASQ certification (CQE or similar)Why Join Us:Opportunity to work in a visible, high-impact quality roleStrong collaboration with leadership and customersStable automotive environment with a focus on doing things the right way👉 Full job description available upon request.
