Product Marketing Manager, IoT Delivery
Lead, Partner Success IoT App DeliveryThis role is within our company's Business Unit Operations function. This role is responsible for working with our external partners to manage our company's participation and strategy in our IoT app services offers. A successful incumbent is expected to: (i) Lead business contact with ecosystem partners, serving as first line interface for quality, launch and delivery activities, (ii) Manage strategic partnership programs end-to-end, working cross-functionally to organize, analyze and prioritize efforts to maximize sales and profitability, (iii) Develop and track performance post-integration to ensure contract commitments, key performance indicators and partnership financial performance are being carried through by internal and partner teams.Responsibilities (in descending order of percentage of time required)Lead business contact with ecosystem partners, serving as first line interface for quality, launch and delivery activities; Identify and resolve operational and services related issues to ensure customer satisfaction; Interface with senior management and partners on project status, schedules, and key issues on regular basisWork closely with cross-functional team to develop and execute multiyear ecosystem roadmap for growth supporting integrations and key feature requirements using consumer insight driven innovations to maximize sales and profitabilityManage partner contracting & integration activities; Drive partner opportunity quoting & negotiation; translate requirements to internal teams such as engineering, finance, manufacturing etc.; develop partner contract response packages; develop customer launch plans including release schedules, program milestones and deliverables, acceptance criteria, risk assessments and engineering scope changesDevelop and track performance post-integration to ensure contract commitments, key performance indicators and partnership financial performance are being carried through by internal and partner teams; provide support to ensure success as requested; coordinate with business unit teams to recommend actions to address under-performanceLead Quarterly Business Reviews across our Group and partner executive teams; Integrate our stakeholders in biweekly deep dives with partner teams on topics including marketing effectiveness, voice of the customer, product road mapping and operational metric evaluationPartner with Finance, Analytics and other cross-functional resources to model operational & financial projections related to partnership opportunitiesCoordinate with Marketing, Channel and Brand functions to incorporate brand guidelines as well as provide insights and vision for marketing of connected products and services using voice-of-the-customer researchCollaborate with product team to prioritize development efforts including technical development, UX/UI and engineering; ensure successful execution of aligned partnerships with the appropriate allocation of resourcesConduct research through key consumer, customer account and overall market feedback for partnership enhancements; use information to create market requirements collaborating with product development team; Use competitive and market intelligence to enhance or adjust plans as necessaryEnsure profitable P&L by driving cost reductions and efficiencies; ensure timely delivery of products and services to partners as committedComply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teamsProtect our company's reputation by keeping information confidentialMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societiesContribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as neededRequirements5+ years of account management experience in a Sales or Customer Service roleLeadership of cross-functional or matrixed team to accomplish common objectivesExperience working in a metrics-driven environmentCross-functional background with IoT products, SaaS/consumer services and/or marketing is a plusExperience presenting to C-suite level executivesAbility to work in an Agile product development environmentAble to travel up to 25% domestically and internationallyNice to haveEngagement in partnership development, including complex agreement negotiationCross-functional background developing, marketing and selling IoT products or consumer / commercial connectivity experience (end user orientation)Experience in developing and refining business models
