We currently have training classes that start every week!Benefits:Starting Hourly Rate: $16.00Paid Training is located onsite in PhoenixTake home a company vehicle with working A/CAffordable benefits include Medical, Dental, and VisionPaid Training & OvertimePaid Holidays & Paid Time Off (PTO)401(k) with Company MatchInternal career growth opportunitiesWhat you'll need:Experience, Education & Certifications:High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalentMust be 25 years of age or olderValid Arizona Driver's licenseMinimum of 5 years driving historyNo pending chargesNo convicted felony charges in past 7 yearsNo DUI or DWI convictionsMust pass criminal background check & motor vehicle record investigationMust pass a DOT physical if over the age of 65 including a pre-employment drug screeningValid Authorization to work in the United StatesSkills:Ability to use a tablet, GPS, two-way radio, or other electronic deviceAbility to maintain a high level of confidentialityAbility to communicate with others and comprehend instructionsAbility to understand highway traffic signs, signals, maps, manifests, and schedulesAbility to obtain knowledge of FTA, ADA, and DOT regulationsFamiliarity with the main roadways and major highways in the service areaWhat You'll Do:Provide safe and reliable transportationDemonstrate excellent defensive driving skillsProvide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholdersMust assist with passenger loading and unloading from vehicleMust assist with any mobility device and securement as required for safety protocolsEnsure the on-time pick-up and drop-off of the customerDemonstrates understanding and sensitivity to the needs of older adults and individuals with disabilitiesComplete thorough vehicle pre-trip, post-trip, and DVI inspections as requiredComplete paperwork as requiredUtilize tablets or electronic devices as requiredMTM Transit is Proud to be an Equal Opportunity EmployerMTM Transit is an equal opportunity employer who welcomes diversity and values the ways in which we are different.
