Then HICO America is looking for you!The Outside Sales Manager – Southwestern reports to the Manager of Outside Sales, North America and is responsible for driving the Sales & Marketing activities across the HICO America suite of products including Power Transformers and Shunt Reactors, Gas-insulated Switching Devices, High Voltage Gas Circuit Breakers and FACTS Solutions. The Outside Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining developing relationships across the territory by managing a team of local sales representatives and through direct contact with client representatives, with the ultimate goal of growing sales revenue and profitability across all the HICO America product lines. An entrepreneurial and competitive spirit along with a dynamic personality will succeed in this fast-paced environment collaborating with several internal and external divisions to deliver problem solving solutions to the power industry. This role also requires a strategic thinker and one that can develop ways to overcome obstacles, not be stopped by them.Requirements:Travel within the given territory for customer visits, conferences, trade shows and technical committee meetings. International travel will be required on an occasional basis.College level degree. An Engineering degree is strongly preferred but, at a minimum, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to quickly learn and adapt to the Power Industry.Proficient understanding and use of professional selling techniquesUses modern and legacy networking techniques to build relationships and deliver value to the client base.Proficient in preparing and delivering Power Point presentations including the use of virtual communication platforms.Experience selling into the Transmission, Distribution and Renewable market (Asset based selling preferred)Desired:Preference given to working out of the candidates who live in the southwest region of the US, but fully remote may be considered.Advanced Degree Preferred (MBA)Experience selling complex construction type projects (working understanding and experience selling complete substation solutions preferred)BenefitsCompetitive compensation package, Paid healthcare, Matching 401k, Performance Bonus, Company lunches, Company Outings, Free Parking, Hybrid Working Model Available, Tuition ReimbursementHICO America provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
