Experienced Bindery/Cutter Operator

*Summary* We are seeking an experienced CutterOperator to join our print finishing (bindery) team in Houston Texas. This role is focused on operating cutting equipment used in the post-press production process to produce finished printed materials such as brochures, catalogs, mailers, and other commercial print products. This position requires *3+* *years of hands-on experience operating cutting machines in a commercial printing environment*. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically skilled, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production setting. *Responsibilities* * Set up, operate, and maintain cutting machines * Interpret job tickets and production specifications to ensure accurate setup * Monitor production cuts to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency * Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on cutting equipment * Inspect finished products for defects, alignment, and overall quality * Maintain production efficiency while meeting deadlines and output goals * Work closely with press and bindery teams to ensure smooth workflow *Qualifications* * *3+ years of experience as a Cutter Operator in a commercial printing or bindery environment* * Strong knowledge of cutting machinery and post-press/finishing processes * Ability to read and follow job tickets and production instructions * Experience with machine setup, adjustments, and troubleshooting * Strong attention to detail and quality control * Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment * Reliable, punctual, and strong team player * Physically able to stand for extended periods and handle production materials as needed * Ideal candidate should have multiple years of experience on Polar cutters.
