Tax Senior

We are a top firm seeking an experienced and motivated Tax Senior to join our growing team in Lexington. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys taking ownership of client engagements, providing high-quality tax work, and mentoring junior staff-all within a collaborative, people-first firm culture.Key Responsibilities-Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S-corps, C-corps, and trusts-Manage and oversee multiple client engagements, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance-Research complex tax issues and provide clear, practical guidance to clients-Assist with tax planning strategies to help clients minimize liabilities and achieve financial goals-Review work prepared by staff accountants and provide coaching and feedback-Support senior leadership with special projects as neededQualifications-Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (Master's in Tax a plus)-Active CPA license or CPA eligibility required-3+ years of progressive tax preparation and review experience in public accounting-Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations-Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills-Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environmentBenefits-Opportunity to grow within a respected and expanding firm-Competitive compensation and benefits package-Supportive team environment with mentorship and professional development-Work-life balance, even during busy season
