It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.Primary: Safety Programs & AdministrationAdminister and maintain company safety programs, policies, and proceduresEnsure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA and state agencies)Conduct routine safety audits, inspections, and hazard assessmentsInvestigate workplace incidents, near misses, and injuries; lead root cause analysis and corrective actionsMaintain OSHA logs (300, 300A, 301) and required regulatory reportingTrack and report key safety metrics (TRIR, DART, incident trends, leading indicators)Develop and support plant safety trainingManage Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and chemical inventorySupport emergency preparedness planning and drillsLead safety committee meetings and follow up on action itemsPartner with operations and maintenance teams to implement risk-reduction initiativesAssist with workers' compensation claim documentation and follow-upQualificationsEducation & ExperienceAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Human Resources, or related field preferred2-5 years of safety experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferredExperience with OSHA compliance and recordkeeping requiredKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong knowledge of OSHA standards and regulatory compliance requirementsAbility to conduct investigations and perform root cause analysisStrong organizational and documentation skillsHigh attention to detail and ability to manage confidential informationStrong communication and training facilitation skillsAbility to influence and collaborate across departmentsProficiency in Microsoft OfficeKey CompetenciesSafety Leadership & Culture BuildingRegulatory Compliance ManagementIncident Investigation & Problem SolvingData Tracking & ReportingCross-Functional Collaboration
