Customer Service Supervisor
The Customer Service Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operation and management of the Customer Services Department. This is a working Customer Service Supervisor (CSS) role, the CSS acts as a Customer Service Representative, while also providing leadership and direction to the Customer Service Team to ensure that an excellent standard of service is provided to all internal and external customers. The individual in this role will lead this team to provide an excellent standard of service to all internal and external customers.Responsibilities:Assume all responsibilities of day-to-day Customer Service and provide support & supervision to the Customer Service Team.Oversee the training and development of the Customer Service Representatives.Develop, monitor and maintain appropriate Customer Service scheduling.Function as a liaison between Customer Service and other branch departments.Continually evaluate processes and look to make process improvements.Create and document Customer Service procedures that support business policies and objectives.Ensure team member compliance with documentation requirements, policies, and procedures.Foster positive customer relationships and resolve escalations.Support the team on questions related to daily processes, responsibilities, and best practices.Conduct semi-annual and annual employee performance reviews.Lead the hiring process for new team members.Collaborate with General Manager on team performance, process improvements and policy implementation.Participate and collaborate on projects related to company and department goals,Requirements:High School Diploma required; some College/College Degree preferred.Minimum of 3 years of practical experience as a Customer Service Supervisor or Lead preferred.Experience in the safety, industrial, or manufacturing industry a plus.High degree of competence with Office 365 Microsoft and ERP software.Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.Must possess strong planning, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.Must be team oriented, dependable, and a strong leader.Must be able to multi-task with the ability to change direction quickly and often.High level of attention to detail required.SAS CA salary range: $70,500 - $75,500 plus bonus, based on experience, education, and geographic location.The perks of being a Bunzl team member don’t stop at being part of a great team or being valued as our #1 asset.
