We are a certified SBA HUBZone and Economically Disadvantaged Woman-Owned Small Business dedicated to fostering diversity, inclusion, and operational excellence.Position SummaryThe Senior Microsoft Cloud Engineer is responsible for providing advanced engineering, architecture, and operational support for enterprise Microsoft cloud environments, including Microsoft 365, Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft Security platforms. This role designs, implements, secures, and optimizes cloud services while ensuring compliance with federal security frameworks including NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-207 (Zero Trust Architecture), and FedRAMP Moderate requirements. The position serves as a senior technical advisor supporting enterprise modernization initiatives, cloud security operations, identity management, collaboration services, and operational resilience across large-scale federal environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, operate, and optimize Microsoft 365, Azure, and Microsoft Security services to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance.Implement and maintain cloud security controls aligned with NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-207 (Zero Trust Architecture), and FedRAMP Moderate requirements.Administer and secure identity services using Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, privileged access controls, and least-privilege access models.Manage and support Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and related Microsoft 365 collaboration services.Provide Azure infrastructure and application support, including cloud networking, workload configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and hybrid integrations.Configure and manage Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Purview, and related security platforms supporting threat protection, information protection, governance, and incident response readiness.Manage data sources feeding Microsoft Sentinel and support health monitoring, alerting, and log ingestion quality management.Develop and maintain technical documentation, training materials, standard operating procedures, and change management records.Support audits, assessments, compliance reviews, and cloud security posture improvement initiatives.Develop automated reporting and dashboard solutions using Power BI and Microsoft technologies.Generate reporting related to system health, compliance status, utilization metrics, and cloud spending forecasts.Configure Azure budgeting, monitoring, forecasting, and cost management capabilities.Develop and maintain incident response, disaster recovery, and continuity of operations playbooks.Serve as a senior technical advisor supporting architecture reviews, modernization initiatives, and complex issue resolution.Support endpoint management activities using Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and enterprise device compliance solutions.Automate administration and operational tasks using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, and cloud automation technologies.Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, networking, and business stakeholders to support enterprise objectives.Provide technical leadership and mentoring across cloud engineering and operations teams.QualificationsRequired: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field.10+ years of experience supporting enterprise Microsoft cloud environments.5+ years of experience serving in a senior engineering, architecture, or technical leadership role.Experience designing, implementing, operating, and optimizing Microsoft cloud services within large enterprise environments.Experience implementing cloud security architectures aligned with NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-207, and FedRAMP Moderate requirements.Advanced experience administering hybrid Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Entra ID environments.Experience managing Windows, macOS, and iOS devices using Microsoft Intune.Experience supporting Autopilot deployments, endpoint compliance, software delivery, and enterprise device management.Advanced experience with identity and access management, including Conditional Access, MFA, FIDO authentication, privileged access management, and least-privilege models.Experience supporting Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and related Microsoft workloads.Experience configuring and supporting Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Purview, and related Microsoft security technologies.Experience with PowerShell automation, Microsoft Graph administration, and cloud management automation.Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.Ability to work independently and provide senior-level technical leadership.Ability to obtain and maintain any required government background investigation.Current Microsoft certifications including:Microsoft technical documentation, architecture diagrams, operational procedures, and training materials.Experience supporting enterprise environments with 700+ endpoints.Experience with Power BI reporting,
