Physician – Urologic Oncologist (Open Rank/Track Faculty)
The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center are seeking a Urologic Oncologist to join the Department of Urology. The role is full‑time, on the tenure or clinical track, with rank and salary commensurate with education and experience. The successful candidate is a respected clinician, educator, and researcher whose scholarly work has or will have impact in the field of Urology.
Duties and Responsibilities
The scope of duties includes diagnosis, consultation, and treatment of adult patients presenting with various disorders of the genitourinary system in office, ambulatory, and hospital settings, with particular focus on Urologic Oncology. The successful candidate must have expertise in minimally invasive surgical approaches to standard and complex genitourinary malignancies.
Requirements
MD, DO, or equivalent
Residency trained in Urology within an ACGME accredited program
Fellowship training in the area of Urologic Oncology
Board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Urology
Licensed or license eligible to practice medicine in the state of Ohio
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with residents, fellows, faculty members, and other stakeholders
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Commitment to maintaining high standards of resident education and fostering a positive learning environment
Demonstrated expertise and experience in urology, with a track record of publications and presentations in the field
Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post‑offer process.
Compensation Package
Salary: commensurate with experience level, plus bonus and relocation assistance
