Your primary objective will be to ensure the successful execution of electrical projects, including planning, organizing, and coordinating activities related to design, installation, testing, and commissioning. You will collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to deliver projects on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.Key Responsibilities and Essential Tasks:Customer Service:Respond to customer needs in a timely manner- same day response either by phone or email.Resolve project issues or escalate as required to find resolutionPromote the company Vision, Mission, Purpose and Values at all timesKeep communication with Clients and proactively watch for future opportunitiesProvide a quality project at the best value possibleProject Management:Create and manage Capacity Overview (Overall Project Schedule) and update as required or monthly at minimumPerform duties as outlined in the published Roles and Responsibility MatrixReview SIS’s weekly with foremen and make labor adjustments as requiredEnsure pre-task planning is followed throughout the project (10-5-2-1)Long Lead material procurement to minimize schedule and cost impactsAll required project documentation Identify and resolve problems as they ariseEnsure Quality Control program is in place on every assigned project Facilitate and coordinate work with all project required subcontracts and internal divisionsManage Change Order Request estimating, negotiating and implementation Identify, mitigate and present all project related claims and notice of delayUnderstand and provide comments during project contract reviewFollow all project close-out requirementsManpower Management:Ensure project and Company safety measures and practices are followed at all timesProvide accurate project manpower projections and update weeklyParticipate in weekly manpower meetingsManage field workforce and communicate issues to Human ResourcesProvide project information to all new workforce starting on the projectManage and execute Corrective Action Plans as requiredMaterial Management:Coordinate major buyouts for projects with Pre-Award and Supply ChainReview Submittals for accuracy and provide mark-ups as requiredSubcontractor management (schedule, scope, budget)Manage project purchasingMange project rentalsManagement of support staff:Manage day to day tasks of assigned Project EngineersProvide direction, training, and leadership for your teamAssist with employee reviewsManage and execute Corrective Action Plans as requiredManage vacations and overtimeCoordination with other departments:Pre-AwardPerform budget/scope review with sales team prior to project turn overEngineeringSet up and facilitate weekly design meetingsProvide information and feedback on Design/Build projects during design Project AccountingReview and maintain job costUpdating and understand monthly cost to complete (CTC) Budget managementCreate and understand project Schedule of ValuesPerform monthly project billing markuWhat's in it for You?We're growing and need people excited about honing their craft and developing their career. Then we have an opportunity for you!Compensation:Rex Moore pays hourly/salary rates commensurate with each employee’s knowledge, experience and skill level.Work environment:Senior Project Manager typically work in an office environment, although they may occasionally visit worksites to observe a project or to meet with clients.When on worksites, Senior Project Manager are to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), always including a hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, work boots and high viz vest/ shirtWorking around energized equipmentThis role requires working in all elements, depending on job location, time of year, heat, cold, rain & snow Reporting Structure:Reports to - (Area Manager/ Project Executive)Department - (Construction Services)EOEQualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:minimum 15 years in electrical commercial or industrial industryminimum 5 years project management experiencestrong knowledge of electrical systems and their componentsstrong computer skills and experience with basic computer programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Microsoft AX, Microsoft Project, etc.)strong in math and deductive reasoningstrong letter writing skillsability to multi-task and take directionability to motivate and train other managersability to manage large scale ($10M+), complex and fast passed projectsPhysical Requirements:Ability to verbally communicate: convey detailed and accurate instructions and information.Ability to hear with or without correction in order to receive and interpret detailed information.Required to sit at a desk work station for long periods of time.Push, pull, lift, and carry at least 10 pounds.Frequently required to walk and stand. This position may involve infrequent site visits which will require the ability to walk on uneven surfaces, climb stairs and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.Required to have visual acuity with or without correction in order to read contract documents, analyze data, view a computer monitor, and proof-read documents to identify errors. Required to use fingers and hands: type using a computer keyboard, handle, feel, and reach.May occasionally be required to stoop, kneel, and crouch. PM22
