CDL Driver - Class "A" (Day Shift) (6693)

Position OverviewDriver - Class "A" is responsible for making daily deliveries of Company products to customers using Companyprovided vehicle. Will deliver fuel to frac sites and/or pick up returns from customers, load and unload the vehicle, conduct pre and post trip inspections, maintain a daily travel log, and handle shipping papers and invoices.Primary Job FunctionsThe primary job functions include, but are not limited to:Perform pre trip, and post trip inspections which includes checking gasoline, oil, water, and tires, and other items as shown on the DVIRRecord any malfunctions of equipment on the Inspection Sheet, which is reviewed by the supervisor and Safety ManagerTransports fuel using Class A TankerLoads or unloads fuel at the rack or tank farmMaintain Daily Log Sheets which includes entering miles and times at each stop. Maintains delivery, truck and driving records by obtaining receipt acknowledgements; recording tracking information; completing driver log and truck performance formsPresent a good image of the company through proper dress and attitude. Maintains safe operation and clean appearance by complying with organization operational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as state and local and DOT driving rules and regulationsResponsible for maintaining a clean vehicle, both on the exterior and the interiorMaintain a satisfactory attendance recordMaintains a safe and clean work environment, complying with all OSHA and company safety procedures, rules and regulationsOther tasks as assigned by ManagementSkill RequirementsThe skill requirements include, but are not limited to:Must be able to drive both automatic and manual transmissionCourteous treatment of and assistance to customersHigh degree of attention required to prevent injury and damage to self and others when operating a company vehicleMust be able to follow oral and written instructionsMust have basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and divisionWork involves continual walking, lifting, carrying, grasping, reaching, stooping and crouchingWork involves climbing and descending stairs frequentlyAbility to lift a minimum of 60 lbs. of weight on a continuous basisAbility to read and write in EnglishMust successfully complete background check, criminal history checkMust pass a physical, human performance evaluation, and drug testAttitude that supports the Company's goals and valuesMust maintain regular and prompt attendanceExperience RequirementsMust have two (2) years verifiable hazmat experience.Education RequirementsHigh school diploma or general education diploma (GED) is preferred.Certification RequirementsMust be at least 21 years of age with a valid Texas driver's licenseMust have CDL license with a tanker endorsementMust have clear driving record for previous 3 years
