Staff Psychiatrist - Up to $5K Sign On Bonus

Precise Behavioral is hiring!We are looking for a staff psychiatrist to join our team to support an onsite, behavioral health unit in the Lancaster, CA area.Precise Behavioral (Precise) was established to revolutionize the behavioral healthcare ecosystem for patients, providers, and health plans. Precise is a physician-owned and led organization that enables a mix of digital, telehealth, in-person, and community resources for improved patient outcomes.Scope of work: Onsite adult mental health services for an acute psychiatric inpatient unit. Includes evaluation of mental health patients, working with hospital and Precise Behavioral staff, placing/discontinuing/extending psychiatric holds, collaborating with staff on admissions to the mental health unit as needed, and assisting with other psychiatric needs within other hospital departments as necessary, including a partial hospitalization program.Bonus: Up to $5K sign on bonus offered and a relocation bonus if needed.Skills:Strong psychiatric evaluation skills to assess mental health conditions accuratelyExperience working in an inpatient, emergency room, IOP, med-surg environment with diverse patient populationsDiagnose individuals based on psychiatric evaluation, and develop treatment plansResponsibilities:Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments of patientsDevelop and implement individualized treatment plansOffer therapy and behavioral health interventionsCollect and maintain accurate patient data for treatment monitoringRequired credentialing requirements:Must be Board Certified in psychiatryCA Medical License (MD/DO)Active CA DEAMust have current inpatient experience in an acute care facility within the last 60 days.Precise Behavioral, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
