Apply now and help us help individuals we serve reach their full potential!DutiesMaintains, cleans and performs preventative maintenance to assure proper utilization and operation and makes appropriate adjustments and parts replacements as assigned.Operates machinery and equipment to assure proper working order as assigned.Lubricates, greases, oils, drains and refills machinery fluids as assigned.Lift and position equipment and machinery.Repairs jigs, fixtures and tools as required.May be assigned to special projects at any Board facility.Performs preventive maintenance on equipment and buildings.Assists in minor remodeling or repair work and major equipment installation including plumbing, electrical, minor carpentry, waste removal, painting, exterior repairs, equipment and vehicles.Operates a variety of hand and power tools.Assess and reports problematic or unsafe situations to immediate supervisor.Observe appropriate safety procedures.Monitors activities to ensure compliance with all applicable rules, regulations, laws, policies, procedures, and collective bargaining agreements.20%May cut grass.Collects and delivers mail and packagesSalts walkways and driveways and shovels snow using snow removal equipment.Performs snow removal and lawn work.Move furniture, and office equipment.Picks up and delivers supplies and equipment.May maintain a variety of reports.Responsible for inventory of stock, equipment, and supplies.Picks up parts and supplies from various vendors.Delivers Agency vehicles to service center for maintenance.Monitors completion and availability of vehicle inspection cards.Performs daily maintenance (cleaning) and inspection of agency vehicles.Maintains maintenance records.Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesSkill in the use of a variety of tools and equipment.Knowledge in basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry and other general maintenance repair work.Knowledge of safety practices and procedures.Skill in mathematical calculations.Ability to work with limited supervision.Ability to follow oral and written instructions.Ability to work independently.Ability to establish and maintain harmonious relationships.Ability to promote an inclusive environment for all board staff, individuals served, families, and providers.Qualifications, Education & Experience RequirementsHigh school diploma or G.E.D.Four (4) years of experience in maintenance or verification of completion of an accredited maintenance repair work apprenticeship in a related field.Certification, registration and licensureValid Driver’s license with acceptable driving record.OtherRequires own transportation.Ability to lift up-to 100 pounds.Required to provide and maintain hand tools.Our organization is committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
