Associate Account Manager

The Hilb Group is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Associate Account Manager to join our team. This position will report to our agency located in Roseland, NJ. The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, is well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team. This is a remote position.Responsibilities:Assist with commercial lines needs for the region, as neededAssist Account Managers and Account Executives with day-to-day servicing of commercial accountsRespond to routine client inquiries regarding policies, certificates, billing, and coverage changesPrepare and issue certificates of insurance, binders, and endorsementsProcess policy changes, renewals, and cancellations in agency management systemsGather underwriting information and application materialsMaintain accurate client files in accordance with agency proceduresEnsure documentation meets regulatory and carrier standardsSupport internal quality control processesAssist with submission preparation and carrier follow-upTrack renewal timelines and ensure documentation is processedReview policies for accuracy and request correctionsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred0–2 years of experience in insurance, customer service, or administrative supportCommercial insurance exposure preferred Property & Casualty Insurance License required or ability to obtain within a specified timeframeStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesProficiency in Microsoft Office; agency management systems preferredBenefits:Compensation: $75,000/yr.Company Paid Life Insurance, Long-Term and Short-Term Disability.Medical, Dental, Vision and FSA/HSA plans.401(k) with company match.Additional voluntary benefits including Critical Illness, Accident Insurance, Hospital Indemnity and Supplemental Life Insurance, Legal and Identity Protection, and Pet benefits.Generous PTO.An awesome team of professionals!The Hilb Group is an equal opportunity employer, and we actively support and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws prohibiting all forms of discrimination in employment.
