As Fundraising Manager, you will lead and inspire all fundraising efforts within your territory, driving significant revenue growth while building and empowering a strong volunteer network. This role is also responsible for the recruitment, training, and management of event committees, ensuring successful execution and continued community engagement.ResponsibilitiesPartner with the Executive Director and Development team to drive year-over-year revenue growth for all fundraising eventsSet and achieve ambitious, attainable fundraising goals for each event in collaboration with leadershipPlan, manage, and execute signature fundraising events within the assigned market to meet or exceed revenue targetsIncrease sponsorship revenue and event registration year over year through innovative peer-to-peer strategiesTrain and support participants, team captains, and volunteers in effective fundraising techniquesCultivate, steward, and recognize relationships with top fundraisers, team captains, sponsors, and key volunteersRecruit, train, and lead event chairs, committee members, and day-of-event volunteersLead event committees and meetings using national tools, manuals, and best practicesManage event logistics, including vendors, venues, and municipal partnersDevelop and manage event budgets, monitoring expenses to stay within approved limitsCollaborate with the Development team on individual, corporate, and foundation giving effortsDemonstrate fundraising impact by communicating how funds support community programs, education, advocacy, and researchMaintain strong knowledge of assigned markets and service areasDesign and implement volunteer and sponsor recognition programsQualificationsBachelor’s degree required4+ years in nonprofit special event fundraising, with proven revenue growth through P2P eventsExperience managing multiple walk/fundraising committees (2–3 members each)Demonstrated success securing monetary sponsorshipsExperience with national organizations with chapter/affiliate systems preferredProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteTechnology literate with ability to leverage social media for marketingExperience with DonorDrive and Virtuous preferredHighly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects under pressureAbility to prioritize, coach, and hold volunteers accountable to reach revenue goalsDiplomatic with strong problem-solving skills; able to handle conflict tactfullyCapable of presenting to small and large groups, in person or virtuallyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsUpholds and exhibits the organization’s Core ValuesComfortable interacting with donors, volunteers, staff, community partners, and the publicFull-time remote position with regular attendance at meetingsAbility to travel moderately for meetings, conferences, and eventsFlexibility to work after hours and on weekends as neededAble to handle emotionally sensitive situations with grieving or crisis-affected individualsFast-paced, dynamic work environment with interaction across multiple stakeholdersFrequently required to sit, stand, talk, hear, walk, and use handsOccasionally lift/move up to 30 lbs for eventsMust have close vision and ability to adjust focusReasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilitiesCompensationSalary: $60,000 - $75,00022 PTO (vacation, sick, wellness and personal days) your first year of employment (5 additional days 2nd year)10% employer retirement contribution after 2 years of employmentFlexible Summer Fridays11 Holidays Career Blazers Nonprofit Search maintains a broad focus so that your search can be thorough, and inclusive of all relevant options.
