Machine Technician Helper
Machine Operator Technician This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of factory equipment and machinery. This role ensures optimal equipment performance, minimizes downtime, and supports continuous improvement initiatives within the facility. Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems for all production equipment as needed. Conduct major equipment rebuilds, routine inspections, and preventive maintenance. Troubleshoot equipment issues, diagnose root causes, and implement effective repairs. Repair and/or replace electrical components as required. Assist with upgrades and enhancements to process control systems as new technologies are introduced. Maintain working knowledge of current and emerging control systems and maintenance practices. Accurately complete all required paperwork and electronic documentation in a timely manner. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in assigned areas. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with team members and support cross-functional operations as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of 1 year of maintenance experience is required; 3–5 years strongly preferred. Associate degree in Maintenance, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred. Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and best practices. Solid problem-solving, detail-oriented, and diagnostic abilities. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Effective verbal and written communication skills; able to work with all levels of the organization. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when needed.
