Join our team and help us bring the best of British TV to fans everywhere.Job PurposeThe BritBox and BBC Select Programming teams are seeking a motivated intern to support a range of standalone projects across both brands. This role will provide hands-on experience within the Programming team, contributing to key initiatives that support content strategy and platform curation.This internship offers a valuable opportunity for an aspiring media professional to gain practical exposure to the planning, selection, and management of streaming content within a dynamic and collaborative environment.ResponsibilitiesAssess the competitive landscape and scheduling practices to inform best practices ahead of new platform launchesAccurately tag metadata for content assetsLearn and apply basic performance analytics to support internal business review meetingsAudit content inventories to ensure accuracy and completenessMaintain scheduling and planning documents and databasesIdentify unauthorized uploads of content across platformsEnter historical data related to content licenses into the AirTable databaseAssist the team with content screening and optimize synopses for viewer engagementSupport ad-hoc programming projects as neededKnowledge And ExperienceStrong interest in media programming, content management, or the entertainment industryDetail-oriented with excellent organizational skillsBasic analytical ability, or willingness to quickly learn analytics conceptsComfortable handling data entry and database management tasksEffective communication skills and ability to work collaborativelyEagerness to learn and contribute meaningfully to programming initiativesSalary Range: $17/hour base salaryPlease note that the salary range is intended to give as an indicator of the salaries that could be attributed to the breadth or experience for a given role.
