You’ll design and scale services that handle complex workflows, integrate data from thousands of devices, and ensure reliability across our growing infrastructure. Your work will directly impact how effectively our technology operates at scale.Responsibilities Design and scale backend services that connect thousands of Gridware devices to the cloud, enabling real-time monitoring and fault detectionBuild and maintain user-facing applications and interfaces that surface fleet health, events, and operational insightsDevelop and optimize APIs (including GraphQL) and data pipelines powering both internal tools and external workflowsEnsure performance, reliability, and usability across both frontend and backend systemsCollaborate closely with firmware, data, and design teams to deliver seamless end-to-end product experiencesContribute to architecture decisions across the stack, improving scalability, data flow, and system resilience Required Skills 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in full-stack or product-focused rolesExperience building and owning end-to-end products, from backend services to user-facing applicationsStrong experience with frontend frameworks (React/TypeScript) and modern backend technologies (Python, Postgres)Experience building and maintaining GraphQL APIsAbility to thrive in a low-structure, high-autonomy environment Bonus SkillsExperience designing and scaling distributed systems or data-intensive applicationsFamiliarity with observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and MimirBackground working in hardware/software contexts or other operationally complex environments**At this time, Gridware is unable to provide visa sponsorship or immigration support for this role.
