The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner will provide primary care services, manage acute and common pediatric conditions, and ensure exceptional patient care. Responsibilities include performing physical examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses, prescribing medications, and educating families on preventative health measures. Collaborative work with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care is a vital part of this role.QualificationsStrong expertise and certification as a Nurse PractitionerExperience and skills in Pediatric NursingComprehensive knowledge of Medicine and Primary Care, with a focus on pediatric populationsProficiency in Nursing practices and delivering high-quality healthcare for childrenExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with children and their familiesAbility to work collaboratively in a team-focused environmentValid Nurse Practitioner License with certification in pediatrics (PNP-AC or PNP-PC) Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in TexasPrevious experience in urgent care or emergency settings is a plusExperience with EMR/EHR systems, ECW is a plus Knowledge of CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), and HIPAA Compliance standards for medical documentation
