Senior Accountant
Primary Activities for the Role: Prepare, review, and post journal entries (such as cash, benefits, foreign trial balances, segment reporting, US GAAP adjustments) with appropriate documentationPerform balance sheet account reconciliations (cash, AR/AP, payroll-related accounts, US GAAP/elimination-related accounts and others as deemed necessary) and proactively resolve variancesMonitor the automated cash entry process. Coordinate future enhancements with manager & ITOwn assigned close calendar tasks and deliverables; ensure compliance with close timelines and reporting requirementsPrepare & maintain accounting schedules (e.g. fixed asset and tax rollforwards for certain foreign entities)Support manager in finance transformation initiatives (e.g. shortening of close)Develop strong relationships with FP&A, AP/AR, Payroll, and Operations to partner on streamlining cross-functional handoffs and ensuring data qualitySupport current & future system implementations (Oracle Planning, task checklist, reconciliation tool).Participate as a Sarbanes-Oxley 404 (“SOX”) tester in the Company’s internal control compliance effortExperience & Skills for the Role: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance,4-6 years of progressive accounting experience; Big 4 experience & CPA preferred Ability to exercise proper judgment, high attention to detail, team player/collaborative, strong business acumen, self-starter & independent thinkingStrong understanding of US GAAP; multi-national public company experience preferredContinuous improvement mindset: Comfortable navigating change and actively contributes to refining and improving processes as the organization scalesProficient usage of Microsoft 365 apps (Excel, Sharepoint, Copilot, Power BI, Power Query, etc.) Hands-on experience with Oracle FCCS / Planning, or other similar automation tools preferredStrong written and verbal communication skills
