SummaryPaint Line Technician position is responsible for various paint prep processes. Primarily responsible for the loading and unloading of material from the automated paint line.ResponsibilitiesLoading material onto the rail for automated paint lineUnloading material from the rail of the automated paint lineApply tape and protective paper to product parts that should be exempt of paint.De-masking painted parts by removing tapePlace plugs in holes of metal parts to prevent paint from enteringSanding metal parts of imperfectionsLearning Powder and/or liquid Painting techniques under supervisionPerform quality inspections of product being preparedKeep inventory of the various masking products (tape, protective paper, etc.)Other duties as assignedRequirementsHigh School or GED diplomaAbility to read specific directions related to the product mixManual dexterityTroubleshooting skillsAbility to work as part of a teamAdaptable to various situationsCommunication and organizational skillsSelf-motivated and able to work independentlyAbility to show enthusiasm and desire to attain manufacturing painter skillsPhysical Demands And Work EnvironmentThis position will work in a manufacturing setting with exposure to heavy equipment, machinery, and related noise levels. Position will be frequently required to walk, stand, bend, squat, and otherwise move continuously throughout shift. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
