Job Title: Administrative Assistant, Financial Services Located: Bend, OR Job Description: Ocean’s Edge is looking for a full-time Administrative Assistant to support their growing wealth management team. If you are a detail-oriented professional, have a passion for delivering exceptional client experience and are interested in the financial services industry, this position is for you. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Duties include but are not limited to: o Prepare and process new account paperwork for advisors and clients o Prepare any additional follow-up forms for clients per advisor’s request o Create and maintain client accounts o Manage and handle advisor notifications o Setup meetings and maintain calendars o Follow through with all paperwork to ensure it is in good order o Manage in and outbound call with professionalism o Mail agreements, brochures, and other client account paperwork to clients o Research and resolve account issues or miscellaneous questions for clients and advisors o Maintain files and prepare correspondence and documents for advisors and clients o Maintain a professional office environment Competencies: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: o Strong technology/computer aptitude o Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner o Intuitive and resourceful to gather, analyze and resolve complicated issues o Respond promptly and accurately to client questions and needs o Meet commitments and maintain confidentiality o Exhibit sound and accurate judgment o Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness o Monitor own work to ensure quality o Strong attention to detail o Strong time management skills o Thrive in a fast-paced environment Education and/or Experience: Associate degree or higher in Business, Finance, Economics, Administration, or equivalent related experience and/or training. Series 7, 63, 65 and/or 66 is preferred but not required. Knowledge of investments, financial operations, insurance, and trusts are a plus.
