We champion the individual capabilities of our employees and the collective power of the team and extend that commitment to our surrounding families and communities.About the Role: The Carrier Claims Specialist is responsible for managing and resolving freight-related issues involving carriers and third-party logistics (3PL) partners after shipments leave distribution centers. This role serves as a key liaison between internal teams, customers/dealers, and external carrier partners to ensure timely and accurate resolution of carrier-related damages, delays, loss claims, and service failures.Responsibilities/Expectations:Provide high-quality customer service by resolving standard carrier-related claims (damage, shortage, delays, misroutes)Serve as a point of contact for customers/dealers regarding carrier issues, ensuring timely follow-upReview claims documentation for completeness and accuracy for submission and resolutionMaintain assigned case queues and meet established turnaround times and service level expectationsCommunicate proactively and professionally via email and phone systemsWork within established processes and guidelines to resolve claims efficientlyPartner with internal teams (warehouse, transportation, customer support) to gather and contribute required informationEscalate complex or high-impact carrier issues as neededAssist in identifying recurring issues and trendsRequired Skills/Abilities:Strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to follow defined processes and proceduresStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)Ability to build effective working relationships internally and externallyAnalytical and problem-solving skillsPreferred Experience:1–3 years of customer service, claims, or logistics experienceExperience working with case managementPhysical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computerMust be able to lift 15 pounds at a timeBenefitsWe offer a competitive benefit package that includes:No waiting period for medical, dental, and vision benefits - Available on day oneCompany-paid life insurance and employee assistance program for all employees401K with company matchEmployee discount on Ubique Group productsEmployee-led organization Ubique Cares engages in monthly and quarterly employee engagement activities packed with fun and giveaways!Free office chair for remote employeesUbique offers 9 paid holidays plus 1 floating holiday per year and up to 13 Accrued PTO days per year.
