MDA Principal Missile Defense System Architecture Engineer
GovSG is looking for a proven Missile Defense System Architecture Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to provide systems engineering and technical support to assess and develop the future Missile Defense System.This is an on-site position in Huntsville, AL.Position Duties:Assess Missile Defense (MD) threats, capability gaps, challenges, needs and opportunities, and develop potential system mitigations and capability evolutions at the architecture levelSupport the above efforts by sourcing, generating, and organizing engineered threat data; developing threat scenarios; reviewing current threat intelligence reportsSupport analysis efforts of MDS architecture studies on the DoD High Performance Computing (HPC)Support Missile Defense Wargaming effortsReview and provide quality assurance of team analysis products prior to delivery; mentor younger engineersOther duties as assignedPosition Required: Master’s degree in STEM and 12+ years' experienceActive Secret clearance requiredAbility to obtain a TS/SCIExtensive knowledge of the current MDS architecture and/or foreign missile systemsExperience with Excel and data analysisExperience with MATLABPosition Desired:Active TS/SCI ClearanceSpecialized MDS analysis experience in: threat characterization, trajectories, RF sensing/signatures, and/or EO/IR sensing/signaturesExperience with M&S and analysis of MDS architectures involving future conceptsExperience with TGx, HPC Systems, Python, and Git is a plusExperience with BMD BenchmarkExperience with large datasets and data organization methodsExperience working in the Missile Defense AgencySalary: $145,000-$160,000. Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
