Quantitative/Python DeveloperNew York City - Hybrid 3 days onste 18 Month W2 Contract $60-$70/hour We are seeking a Python Backend Developer to join a high-profile Global Markets Supervision & Surveillance team supporting a major Operational Excellence (OpEx) initiative. This is one of the organization’s largest strategic programs, representing a significant portion of the department’s annual investment and focused on modernizing enterprise surveillance capabilities across multiple lines of business.The team is retiring a legacy vendor surveillance platform and consolidating all functionality into a centralized supervisory platform. This role will contribute to the development and enhancement of critical surveillance workflows, alerting systems, audit remediation efforts, and regulatory support tools used across the enterprise.The ideal candidate will have strong Python backend development experience, REST API expertise, and experience working with large-scale enterprise systems.
