You guide bartenders, bar backs, cocktail servers, and beverage staff with a hands-on approach, jumping in to serve guests when needed and ensuring every drink, every smile, and every experience is top-notch. With a mix of leadership, guest interaction, and operational know-how, you help keep our beverage areas in full compliance and aligned with our service standards.What you bring to the tableMake sure the space stays safe, clean, and friendly for both guests and the rest of the team; speak up and report any safety concerns to the Safety Committee.Oversee daily stocking and keep a close eye on inventory needs across Warehouse 101, the Slot Beverage service, and the Lobby Bar.Lead with positivity, professionalism, and a touch of fun-setting the tone for the entire beverage team.Stay cool under pressure while juggling guest needs, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring OLCC rules and Gaming Commission directives are followed to the letter.Step into the spotlight by introducing entertainers in Warehouse 101 and assisting with special event operations.Monitor guest satisfaction and collaborate with the Beverage Manager and co-Supervisors to raise the bar (literally!) on service, value, and consistency.Partner with the Beverage Manager to coach, mentor, and support team members, offering feedback that helps everyone grow.Help manage departmental costs and revenues with smart, business-minded decision making.Take ownership of opening and closing procedures-covering everything from cashiering to cleanliness-keeping operations seamless.Assist in developing staff evaluations and supporting performance conversations.Play a key role in resolving team conflicts while ensuring compliance with policies, OLCC regulations, and Gaming directives.Run the shift like a pro, signing off on tenders, closing cashiers, and making sure guest concerns are handled with care.Stay flexible and float between outlets as needed to keep service smooth and guests delighted.Jump in where needed to support the team and keep things running smoothly. (Other duties as assigned)Must-haves, nice-to-haves, and maybe some bonus pointsFriendly and approachable attitude that helps guests (and the team) feel welcome and cared for every day.GED or HS diploma required with two years supervisory experience in a food service environment demonstrating positive people handling skills.Three years or more bartending experience required.Must be able to read and comprehend verbal and written instructions.Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.OLCC and food handler's permits required with a working knowledge of OLCC regulations and be able to meet health, safety and sanitation standards at all times.ServeSafe certification required or the ability to obtain certification within 90 days of employment.Previous experience in the hospitality field with demonstrated guest service excellence.Demonstrated ability to successfully navigate the POS system and accurately manage a cash bank, credit card activity, and balance with corresponding paperwork at the end of each shift.Demonstrated ability to perform duties with a minimum of supervision and handle multiple priorities and tasks.Comfortable communicating clearly and positively with both guests and teammates.Must pass and remain in compliance with Coquille Gaming Commission background check and drug free workplace policies.Physical stuff to knowWe've included the typical physical parts of the job here. It's important to stay calm and make good decisions under pressure, especially when dealing with stressful situations or upset people.
